I am a first-born child of immigrants, and proudly wear my Filipino-American heritage on my sleeve. I am also queer, which I had been able to confidently say, as of late. These are both areas that I have been questioning myself for a while, but I feel like I have made much progress as to finding my place in both communities. What I wish to accomplish as a therapist is to provide a sense of belonging to those who are struggling in similar situations. 

Though we inhabit our bodies, we may not know exactly who we are, and we may change, but that is natural. Coming to terms with that can prove difficult for many, and I would advise therapy as a start if one wishes to explore themselves. When working with me, expect a flexible and integrative approach that specializes in person-centered counseling, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) interventions, integrations of mindfulness, and more. As your counselor, I will support you to the point where you will be equipped to face your issues in-and-out of the counseling space.
