Hi, Iām Samantha -
I see therapy as a place where you can be yourself without feeling like you have to have everything figured out. I believe our past experiences can shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us, sometimes in ways we may not even realize. Therapy can be a chance to slow down, make sense of those patterns, and gently explore what you may want to do differently moving forward.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I draw from DBT, psychodynamic, and person-centered approaches, meeting you where you are and working together to find what feels most helpful for you. I value both understanding where our patterns come from and finding ways to navigate the present with greater awareness and intention.
Above all, I want therapy to feel like a space where you can come as you are. There is no expectation to be perfect or to have all the answers. My hope is to create an environment where you feel comfortable being honest, feel genuinely heard, and can begin to better understand yourself with compassion.
