I believe therapy is a safe space for us to collaborate to explore the thoughts, feelings, and coping skills that have you feeling stuck or distressed. In our time together, I will help you move forward by guiding you to build the skills you need to thrive. I help clients build compassion towards themselves, identify their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, assertive communication skills, and challenge unhelpful thoughts. My wish is to help you feel calm, confident, and able to achieve your personal goals.
My style of therapy is rooted in a trauma-informed approach, which utilizes solution-focused, emotion-focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic principles. I apply these techniques to help clients with the goals of building self-esteem, healthy relationships, coping with anxiety, depression, & PTSD, becoming more attuned to their emotions, and navigating life transitions.
